On April 8th, at 1:00 AM, the camera was activated. The first few images are mundane: a glimpse of a branch, the back of Kris’s head, a reflective warning sign. But between 1:54 AM and 4:00 AM, the flash fired almost continuously, producing 90 images. Most are black, irrelevant—the flash illuminating nothing but air, leaves, or the camera strap.
