A new mechanic was implemented for Normal and Hard modes to prevent "unwinnable" saves. Instead of a direct game over from gradual health loss (such as from hunger or environmental effects), health now caps at a minimum of 1, ensuring the player has at least one chance to survive before the next direct hit. In Normal and Hard difficulties, energy drain from
