To access the materials in V-Ray 6, you must use the : right-click the material in the browser

: Select your object in the viewport, right-click the material in the browser, and choose Add to Scene Apply to Selected Objects Managing Local and Custom Assets Offline Use vray 6 material library

Right-click a material and select "Add to Scene" to see it in your Asset Editor list .
