Sagawa, who was 5'8" (173 cm) and weighed around 120 lbs (54 kg), had been stalking a 27-year-old woman, named Junko Furuta (not to be confused with another Japanese victim), but on that day, he encountered a 21-year-old woman, who was a part-time worker at a local factory.
