The movie follows the story of Prasad (played by Allu Arjun), a young man who returns to his ancestral village to participate in the Brahmotsavam festival. Upon his return, he learns about his family's past and the significance of the festival, which is a celebration of the divine marriage of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
The family harmony is tested when (Rao Ramesh), Chantibabu’s brother-in-law, becomes envious of Chantibabu's fame and arranges a marriage between his daughter (Pranitha) and Babu to secure his position. However, Babu is already in love with Kasi (Kajal Aggarwal), an independent NRI from Australia.
