gpupdate [/target:computer|user] [/refresh] [/force]

: Automatically restarts the computer after applying settings. This is required for items like Software Installation that only process during startup. gpupdate command

gpupdate /force /logoff

: Limits the update to just the computer or user settings, which can speed up the process. gpupdate /logoff gpupdate command
