Frivolous Dress Order Commute [updated]

Employees have successfully challenged frivolous commute dress orders by arguing that the cost and effort of maintaining the dress code during the commute constitute an "undue hardship" on the employee.

A call center mandates "full business formal" (suit, jacket, tie) for all male-presenting employees. The building is kept at a tropical 75 degrees. The employee commutes via a 20-minute walk from the train station in 90-degree humidity.
